Photo albums galore!

I’ve had a love of taking photos since I had a Brownie box camera 📸 in 3rd grade in 1960. I started making up albums around age 12, & I love chronicling our lives, so I have AT LEAST 50 albums. Today I was going through some for our 17 year old granddaughter’s Senior night at her volleyball game 🏐 this coming Friday night. We are working on a trifold poster board that will be on her own little table, along with other sports & Senior photos, and little decorations etc..
Man, I had forgotten about a lot of the pics I had taken 15-17 years ago when she was little! I know it’s a cliche, but WHERE did the time go? Of course I thought that most of them were really cute, but she only chose a few that she loved. It’s been many years since I helped my kids with their Senior activies & sports, so many that I can barely remember them, but I am grateful that I get to witness this young lady enjoy this precious chapter in her life.
Her other grandma helped her buy alot of things today to put on that board, so there are two grandmas that get the pleasure of watching her go through this transition. My husband loves to have her here too, but he lets me do all the hands on stuff, especially since he’s still working full time.
Friday night will find us all at the high school creating memories, taking pictures, crying, laughing, and supporting her. I’m so glad I had some adorable photos to add to her board, and while I don’t print photos out too much the past few years due to phones & social media & the Cloud, I’m happy that I collected lots over the past 55 + years! ☺️
