Raising teens again!

So, after many years I found myself in a competition with no one; trying to see how long our original master bath towel set would last! Call me crazy if you want. I understand. Anyway, before long 20 years had gone by. Now certainly I had bought and used other towels, but I wanted to break the world record right? So I kept on going, till one day a certain teen who had moved in with us decided to dye her hair BLACK and guess what, it only showed up later on one hand towel after washing as a pale white stain, but gee, my experiment had ended. But hey, I wasn’t really upset. Making memories with my granddaughters takes precedence over material things for sure. I just smile at the memory, but we did agree that there was going to be no more hair dying in the house. BUT, the black stain on the previously pristine 28 year old main bathroom light toned wood drawer remains, reminding me that we all make mistakes, and love covers a multitude of sins. Ah, I love my granddaughters, and wouldn’t trade them for anything, especially slightly stained towels and drawers. Those young ladies are irreplaceable!
